Halo: Reach

**I HAD NOT PLAYED THE GAME WHEN I WROTE THIS I GOT THIS INFO FROM RESEARCH, I will put up a new post after I played it on my opinion of the game**

September 14, 2010. Remember Reach!

That’s right! Halo: Reach is coming out this Tuesday! All of the campaign and custom game goodness you have come to love about this series is back!

Halo: Reach has done a magnificent job of staying true to the Halo franchise while still giving the game some of its own flare. It is a prequel to the original Halo trilogy loosely based on the novel "Halo: The Fall of Reach" by Eric Nylund.  The basic overview of the book is that kids were abducted at the age of 6 to be trained to be super warriors called Spartans; these Spartans are given extremely powerful drugs and were mutated to make them super human.  After several years of brutal training they were sent to their separate corners of the universe. One day a colony named Harvest is visited by the Covenant. This triggers the Human vs. Covenant wars. After much fighting the Covenant attack the last major UNSC stronghold Reach is attacked. Again, this is the pnly the books basic overview, I'm not sure if it will be the same int the game.  I will put up a post more on the history of Halo in a week or so.

One of the biggest changes: you AREN'T Master Chief! That’s right, this time you start out as a Spartan with the title, Noble 6, who is customizable to your likings. Stationed on Reach during the attack Noble 6 and the other Spartans fight back! Other changes are armor mods that allow you to use either a jet-pack, become invincible, or sprint for a short amount of time. That’s right. YOU CAN FLY!!!! It’s a nice touch to a Halo game. Of course, minor control differences from other Halo games. The Campaign will take an average gamer 9-10 hours to complete on the heroic difficulty setting and has some good old fashioned campaign level set ups with a few newer level layouts. Along with some new weapons! Such as the grenade launcher and needle rifle! And it gets better! Halo has brought back scoped pistols! YAY! Firefight is also back in reach, but now it’s customizable! You can change the difficulty for each individual player and the actual waves of Covenant

Reach also is coming out with forge world and Forge 2.0! Forge world comes complete with a vast area made for forge. It is somewhat similar to the map Valhalla in Halo 3 but with more water. Forge 2.0 pretty much took Forge from Halo 3 and fixed it. Everything that you bugged you, like two platforms not lining up right, or having to do a trick to keep the block in the sky is fixed! You get an upgraded inventory of possible objects to use and can do almost anything to them! Shove them into the sides of mountains or line them up with another section perfectly whatever you can think of! All of this is possible in Forge 2.0.

Halo: Reach is a MUST HAVE game!
